It’s almost the end of June and a month has passed since I’ve been here in Kuala Lumpur. The only thing that’s keeping me sane during the holidays is by catching up on the Spring 2016 menswear collection and I absolutely love it. I know… Read More
They’re petite in size, known for wearing everything oversized and for their name in fashion. I’ve always been a fan of their work ever since I was only 10 years old. I’m not ashamed to admit this but yes, I was one of those teenage girls who purchased their books and have a collection of them (no shame). I even watched all of their movies throughout their acting career days. Growing up, I was a bit disappointed to find out that they have retired from the acting biz but who knew that they would make a name for themselves in the fashion world?
By launching, The Row, not only does their collection represent them but also gives hope for young, petite ladies into wearing/ experimenting with everything oversized and layers. Hence this makes them my fashion inspiration of the week. The duo has been my inspiration and role models since as long as I could remember. Being in the fashion world, I would love to view their collection live in person and have the opportunity to interview them. Here are a few of my favorite looks by the Olsen twins.
Some may see it as simple but being simple and chic is my kind of style. I may not dress to impress sometimes as a blogger and a writer but living effortlessly chic is my sort of style. This is me.
Hey guys! I just want to thank everyone for giving feedbacks last week . It was a great help in understanding more about what I have been writing and what I can improve more in the near future. I decided to dedicate my tuesdays to a segment called “Fashion Inspiration Tuesday.” Since it is my first segment of the day, I’m going to dedicate this post to my fashion idol, Vanessa Hudgens.
At just 25, she may win the title of being the Queen of Coachella but she definitely wins the title for being one of the most experimental person in fashion. Every movie or photo she is in among the media, you will always see this young lady in various type of styles. Widely known for her bohemian style, her way of using layers, colors and pieces that fits with her silhouette makes her respected as a person and a fashion guru. Also if you are familiar with her style and is following her on Instagram, you are bound to see her Instagram post on her love towards nail art. With her impeccable style and sweet personality, Vanessa Hudgens is my fashion inspiration of the day.
If you’re familiar with the work of Dane Dehaan then you might have recognized him from the latest installment of The Amazing Spiderman 2, Chronicles and Kill Your Darlings featuring Daniel Radcliffe. Last weekend, I managed to watch the movie everyone has been buzzing off about (The Amazing Spiderman 2) and if you’re into the whole Superhero thing then you might enjoy this movie. However, what really caught my eye unfortunately isn’t Andrew Garfield but this charming young man named Dane Dehaan. Appreciated for his wonderful skill of acting and giving him the title of the next young Leonadro Dicaprio, what I loved most about him on and off screen is his effortless sense of style. He is the epitome of a high fashioned British hipster. At the age of 27, he received another opportunity to star in Prada’s Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear Campaign which I thought fits perfectly well with what his style is most recognized for. Along with that, he received a Rising Star Award at this year’s BAFTAs (British Academy of Film and Television Arts). In my opinion, he is definitely my Fashion Inspiration of the Day and definitely someone to look out for in the near future of films such as Life in portrayal of James Dean alongside with Robert Pattinson.
What do you guys think of this upcoming rising star?
I have a fascination towards music festivals and electro-pop, so it was an absolute yes for me to attend the biggest music festival in Indio, California and witness this lady live. This 25-year-old british wonder mesmerized me when I saw her perform on stage… Read More
